Welcome to Wyoming Public Schools!
Our District is located in the city of Wyoming, Michigan, the largest suburb of metropolitan Grand Rapids and the 20th largest city in Michigan. It is a city of well-kept neighborhoods and parks. Recreational and cultural opportunities abound, and the community atmosphere emphasizes family values.
The Wyoming Public School District has a staff of approximately 525 employees, including teachers, administrators, secretaries, paraeducators, food service, maintenance and custodial staff, bus drivers, mechanics, and community education personnel.
Our student enrollment is approximately 4,900 students.

Wyoming Middle College
Wyoming Middle College is an innovative public school partnership between Wyoming Public Schools and Grand Rapids Community College. The WMC is available to all students who attend Wyoming Public Schools.
A major goal of WMC is to increase access to post secondary opportunities, blurring the line between high school and college and recognizing that a post secondary education is crucial for a person’s independence.

Bus Schedule 2011 - 2012
School bus transportation is providedonly for eligible students and shall be considered a PRIVILEGE to be enjoyed only as long as the students accept responsibility for their own personal conduct and carefully follow all rules and regulations.

Relay for Life
Wyoming Public Schools is starting its 7th year of participating in the Wyoming/Grandville Relay for Life. Join us on May 11 and 12, 2012 at Lamar Park in Wyoming. This year our fundraising goal is $7,500. Last year WPS raised $11,735 towards the fight for Cancer. Over the past 6 years we have raised over $50,000. |
